Just stopped in for lunch on a cruise with sixteen cars in our group. Didn’t know what to expect when I arrived. Southern cooking at it’s best. The open face roast beef sandwich with fried okra was delicious. I overheard people who loved the chicken wrap and the cheeseburger. Key lime pie for dessert was perfect. Love the fact our server, Stephanie, spent time with us and even the owner introduced himself to our group. Just good folks....as my grandmother would say. If they would have given me an extra slice of bread, I would have mopped up the gravy!! Forgot to get picture of the key lime pie, my mouth got rid of the evidence to fast.

Second time eating here in the past couple of years traveling through. I ordered the chicken parm dinner and it was spectacular. We also met the owner, Rich, who was making his rounds, saying hello to his customers, which I think is tremendously important for success. Super nice gentleman and his wait staff very attentive, can't recommend this place for dinner enough!

Warm and friendly greeting as we entered. Taken to a booth table within a minute. This was one of my stops to treat my wife to Mother's Day celebration for just the two of us. Within a minute or so our waitress introduced herself and asked us about drinks while giving us the opportunity to look over the Mother's Day menu and other items to consider. I chose the Salmon, with baked sweet potato and pinto beans. Delicious! My wife chose a house salad with blue cheese dressing. For her entree she chose a fried chicken breast with honey Dijon mustard sauce and baked potato. My compliments to the chef for both our entrees. The banana pudding literally just like my mother use to make. Brought back fond memories of my mother's cooking. Tellicafe also has karaoke on Thursdays, line dancing Fridays and live music on Saturdays. Just check their Facebook for schedule. I highly recommend Tellicafe when you are looking for fine casual dining in east Tennessee.

Great place for breakfast. Sweet potato pancakes with candied pecans was outstanding. Eggs benedict and omelets were well prepared and tasty. Hashbrowns were crispy and light. We went here two days in a row because of the food and the prices. Great value at a locally owned restaurant. The owner came by and greeted us both times.

Had dinner with friends for the first time. We were extremely surprised as to how excellent everything was. Great diverse menu, EXCELLENT FOOD, very reasonably priced, great service, and the portions were large. Everything was homemade, we met the Owner and the Chef, who have both been there for over 30-years. The atmosphere was great, and they have a full bar. They also have a covered outdoor area with a great view. We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant !!! One of the 3- Best Restaurants in East Tennessee.

Honestly one of the best meals we’ve ever had. We started with fried green tomatoes that were very tasty. I had the prime rib sandwich special. The meat was tender and delicious. The accompanying onion rings and fries were great! My wife had the fresh trout that was superb! We had the house made carrot cake that was without a doubt the best we’ve ever had. They have a great menu with a wide variety of offerings. I think everyone can find something good to eat here. Our very friendly and courteous waitress said many of the deserts they serve are house made. We will be back many times to try out all of the deserts and food offerings. They have several all you can eat options for those with large appetites. The prices were very reasonable. I highly recommend the Tellicafe!

I absolutely love this place. I come here with my grandparents and they are always so wonderful and accommodating. The views from the porch are just incredible. I have never been disappointed with the food. In fact they have just about the best apple pie I’ve ever had. The only reason I don’t go more often is because I live a couple counties over. If I lived closer I’d go there every week.

My husband and I have been coming here for almost 20 years and have never been disappointed! It is one of our favorite places to eat and definitely our favorite place to eat in Tellico Plains! The food is always excellent, the service is always friendly and I cannot remember a time we went and were not personally checked on at least once by the owner. Cannot recommend highly enough!
